Joyce believed each of us is an artist. All we must do is find our medium. To her, life was the canvas. Her legacy is carried on through the thousands of children and adults who learned from her and loved her.
Today the Joyce Straus Foundation For The Arts continues to inspire and educate children about the visual arts by providing creative and innovative programs that involve children in hands-on visual art experiences. Additionally, the Foundation promotes the study of art by awarding scholarships to children.
